Ltd, its subsidiaries and affiliates (“vCyberiz”, “company”, “we”, “our” or “us”). This Privacy and Cookie Policy (“Privacy and Cookie Policy”) describes our information practices in connection with the access and use of our Site. The following terms, together with those set forth in the Site’s TOU, which is incorporated hereto by reference (collectively, the “Terms of Use” or “TOU”), govern your access and use of the website www.vCyberiz.com and any subdomains at that site or any other site owned by vCyberiz, including any content, functionality, features, and services available on or offered through the Site.


vCyberiz values your privacy. We want to inform you about the personal information we may collect, how we may use it, and your rights regarding data protection.

As a user of our websites, platforms, applications, and other services.

Our websites contain embedded services that are not hosted on our servers, such as maps to locate vCyberiz entities or videos. In some regions, we display locally stored thumbnails to prevent third-party providers from automatically receiving information. In these cases, content from third-party providers is only loaded after you have given your consent through our consent management system.

When you access the content, the third-party provider receives information about your visit to our website and the usage data necessary for their service. We have no control over the further processing of data by the third-party provider.
2. As a visitor of our social media presences
2.1. Description of data processing
The provider of the social media pages and we are jointly responsible for the processing of your personal data as controllers. The provider determines the purposes and means of data processing, which we have limited influence over. We will take actions to ensure compliance with data protection regulations, but we cannot control the provider’s data processing and do not know which data is being processed.

The data you enter on our social media pages, such as comments, videos, pictures, likes, and public messages, are published by the provider and not used or processed by us for any other purpose. We may delete content if necessary, share it on our website, and communicate with you via the social media page.

We process your personal data for public relations and communications (legitimate interest) and to establish an employment relationship with you ((pre)contractual).

3.3. Newsletter
You can subscribe to our newsletter to receive information about current trends and events in the IT and cybersecurity industries, special offers, new products, services, and important dates for IT decision-makers. To register, we need your email address.

In some regions, we may send you a confirmation email after you complete the registration form. Your registration will not be activated until you click on the link in the confirmation email.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may use individual tracking technologies to see when you access or open the newsletter and personalize the links to see when you click on them.

4. As a participant in seminars, webinars, training sessions, virtual meetings and other events
4.1. Description of data processing
For events such as seminars, webinars, training sessions, or other events organized by vCyberiz or another company, we may process your personal data. This may include processing your data for purposes such as managing your registration, attendance, and accommodation, sending you event-related communications, and processing your audiovisual content.

For marketing purposes, we may also use your personal data.
4.2. Audiovisual content
During events, we may capture images or videos of groups, crowds, or individuals in specific roles, such as speakers, for communication purposes. These may be published on our websites, social media, or other digital or print media. If you do not want to be included in such content, please inform the person responsible for recording and production and be mindful of avoiding being captured in images or videos during events.

For individual images or videos, we will inform you and seek your consent before capturing such content. This may be done through various means, such as a checkbox on a registration form or by distributing different colored entrance tags during in-person events.

You have the right to object to this processing or withdraw your consent. However, once information, including images and videos, is posted on the internet or social media, it becomes accessible worldwide and may be copied and distributed by third parties beyond our control. As a result, the information may remain available even after we have deleted it. In such cases, deletion requests should be directed to the relevant internet search engine or social media platform operators.

If your image is used in print materials, such as leaflets or newsletters, and it would require disproportionate effort to comply with your objection or withdrawal, the printed materials containing your image may continue to be used until the current edition is exhausted. Your image will not be used in any new print materials. The same applies to electronic newsletters if consent is withdrawn after production has begun.

Relevant personal data includes images, videos, voice recordings, biometric data, and other audiovisual data.
4.3. Virtual events
For virtual events, we may process your personal data to communicate with you, organize and conduct virtual meetings, and share your data with external third-party providers. In some cases, we may also record virtual meetings.

The personal data we may process includes your contact details, meeting metadata, device/hardware data, text, audio and video data, and connection data.
5. As an applicant to our vacancies
5.1. Description of data processing

  • We may use your personal data for various purposes, including evaluating your application, conducting interviews and assessments, checking your eligibility, and contacting references.

  • We may also use your data to inform you of job opportunities, conduct satisfaction surveys, and comply with legal requirements.
  • Relevant personal data includes your CV, contact information, identification data, employment history, education and qualifications, and bank account details.
  • We will retain your data for as long as necessary for the application process and delete it within six months if your application is unsuccessful. In some cases, data may be retained for longer periods as required by law.
  • If your application is not selected but is still of interest, we may ask for your consent to keep it on file for future opportunities.
6. Data retention
Unless we have not already provided you with specific information about the retention of your personal data, we retain your data as long as this is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it has been collected. Data, which is no longer required, will be deleted, provided that there are no legal storage and documentation obligations that would require a longer retention.

Due to the international structure of vCyberiz, certain individuals and departments may need to access and process your personal data on a need-to-know basis. We comply with all applicable data protection requirements for intragroup data access and transfers.

In addition, we may share your data with trusted third-party service providers contracted by vCyberiz for the purposes mentioned above. These may include, but are not limited to, service providers who assist us with order fulfillment, payment/billing, customer service, finance, auditing, fraud detection, IT services, communication, hosting, logistics, email delivery, marketing, sales, data analysis, event management, training, surveys, printing, archive, advisory, and consulting services.

We may also disclose your data to other recipients, such as private and public entities and institutions, including law enforcement, data protection authorities, tax authorities, credit agencies, debt collectors, banks, courts, hotels, or other companies, as long as there is a legal basis for such disclosure.

8. Data transfers to third countries
Your personal data may be transferred to third countries, as long as it is necessary for the purposes outlined in this Statement, there is a legal basis for the transfer, and appropriate data transfer mechanisms are in place.

vCyberiz is based in Singapore, which is considered by the EU Commission to have an adequate level of data protection.
9. Your rights
You may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access and receive a copy of your data, request rectification or erasure, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing based on vCyberiz ‘s legitimate interests.
